# LangSmith setup

> How a LangSmith workspace is organized, where LangSmith runs, and who can do what across your organization.

LangSmith is the platform for testing, deploying, monitoring, and improving agents. This tab covers what you set up before and around that work: how a workspace organizes what you build, where LangSmith runs, and who can do what.
